These spiral freezers consist of a conveyor belt that revolves around a rotating drum. Food ends up at the bottom of the drum on the conveyor belt and turns in a spiral to the top where the discharge is located. Infeed and outfeed conveyors are seamlessly integrated with your process line. The use of high-quality materials ensures high continuity in your production.
With temperatures between -150 °C and -196 °C, spiral freezers are a lot colder than traditional freezers. At these low temperatures, food, biological samples and other materials are preserved much better. So a wide variety of products from food to non-food is possible.
